Official Perry County Contacts

Perry County does not publish a verified online inmate roster, recent-booking feed, or dedicated booking-photo request form. Start with the Perry County Sheriff's Office or Perry County Jail for current local custody and local intake records. The sheriff and jail share the current county main number. No dedicated records email, records-office hours, booking-photo fee, or response period is published, so confirm hours before visiting.

The right destination depends on the question. Use these official routes instead of relying on a same-name county page from another state.

  • For a Perry County booking sheet or intake photo, identify the full name, approximate arrest or booking date, arresting agency, likely facility, and case or booking number. Then use the county public-record request entry or call the sheriff for the proper custodian.
  • For current local custody, call Perry County Jail. Marion and Uniontown arrests may require a call to the city police first because no official source says every municipal arrest goes to the county jail.
  • For a filed District or Circuit Court case, contact the Perry Circuit Clerk, 300 Washington Street, Suite 110, Marion, AL 36756, at (334) 683-6106. Published hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • For Marion police records, call Marion Police Department at (334) 683-9072. Its non-emergency lines are (334) 683-9071 and (334) 309-3948. No police records hours or dedicated records line is published.
  • For Uniontown police records, contact Uniontown Police Department at 200 Front Street, Uniontown, AL 36786, (334) 581-5144, or utpd53@yahoo.com. The Uniontown Clerk also maintains municipal records at 100 Front Street, (334) 628-2011, weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • For a currently incarcerated sentenced state prisoner and an ADOC offender photo, use the Alabama Department of Corrections search. It is not a Perry County booking roster.
  • For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For adult immigration detention, use the ICE detainee locator. Neither is a local mugshot feed.

The Perry County search and records page explains how to match each channel to current custody, a released booking, a court outcome, or state-prison custody.
